Salvation has many depths to it. First of all (I would say) it means being saved from eternal seperation from God and be 'delivered out of the power of darkness, and translated into the Kingdom of the Son of his love' (Colossians 1:13).

There is also another dimention to salvation; which is to save our mind, will and emotions already here on earth. That we may have peace and experience the heavenly peace already here and now in our hearts and minds. To live, move and think like Christ.

There is hope, that we may grow closer and closer to God, already in this life. And to become more like Him; which gives us peace and wisdom and good internal life. Free from guilt, shame, condamnation, depression, fear, anger, hatred, regret, hopelessness and so forth. Our circumstances may not always be like it will be in heaven, but our Hearts can have Heaven reigning inside!

1 Thessalonians 5:23
- May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9-10

9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.

Ezekiel 36: 26-30
26 I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them. 28 You will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. You will be my people, and I will be your God. 29 I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you. 30 I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.

2 but his delight is in Yahweh’s law.
On his law he meditates day and night.

He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water,
that produces its fruit in its season,
whose leaf also does not wither

Whatever he does shall prosper.
Psalm 1:2-3
